 | LOCAL MUSEUMS TEAM UP AND TAKE PART IN MILTON KEYNES’ FIRST X-CHANGE PROJECTReleased : June 6, 2012 From Ticker Tape to Twitter, Bletchley Park and Milton Keynes Museum take visitors through the evolution of communication. Bletchley Park and Milton Keynes Museum have teamed up to be part of the first  Milton Keynes X-change Project. Join them in this exciting journey through the development of communication, where visitors will be given the opportunity to utilise each method of communication enabling visitors from both museums to talk to each other. Throughout June both museums will be holding activities allowing visitors to interact and experience how communication has progressed over time from good old fashioned letters to the high speed internet. • 9th and 10th June: Snail Mail, the event will commence with a look into the history of the Royal Mail and a chance to communicate using one of the oldest forms of communication, letter writing. • 16th and 17th June: On the same wavelength, this weekend will explore the process of radio communications used in WWII and still relevant to today. • 23rd and 24th June: Strike a Pose, visitors will not want to miss this exciting weekend, taking part in video chats, sending photos and exploring the most modern form of communication. Activities will take place between 11am and 3pm. Normal admission charges apply; price includes access to all onsite exhibitions. Advanced booking is not required. On-site parking is £3 per car. •The National Museum of Computing The cost of admission to the Colossus and Tunny galleries;- Adults £2, Children (13 to 16) and Concessions (over 60s and students with a valid ID card) £1, children aged 12 and under will be free. This is NOT an annual season ticket but a one-day admission pass.
